I love this coffee for the weekends. It’s wonderful to sit and chill with this coffee and enjoy the flavors.
This coffee is excellent! I’ve replaced my Cafe Bustelo with it. The taste is wonderful and reminds me of having coffee with my abuelos as a kid.
This coffee doesn't impart a lot of taste. It has the caffeine you like in everyday coffee, just not the taste. Without being mean, it is a little bland. the only way I can make it taste better is by steeping for double or more time. Or by mixing it with another coffee. I am glad to have gotten to try a light roasted coffee for the first time, but it was a bit underwhelming.
The best way I brewed this is using a French Press, 14OZ water, 3 & 1/2 Tablespoons of coffee, steep for 7 minutes. Swirl the coffee again after pouring in the water, the grinds like to stay at the bottom. I hope this helps!

I found out that not only is getting coffee is cheaper in Puerto Rico, but flavorful. Plus, I am getting candies that only came from my grandparents from PR when I was a kid.
We first experienced this coffee during a vacation in Puerto Rico several years ago and we were thrilled to learn you guys would ship it to us here in the mainland US so easily and inexpensively! It is our favorite coffee on the planet. Also...what a nice little surprise that we received the coconut ginger treat as a 'thank you' gift!

Since my time in Mayaguez I have not taste a”brazo gitano” as good as this one.
Overall the pastry is very tasty but, I think I received an old batch mine was very hard leaving me disappointed!

I previously left this on the wrong coffee, the other looks similar but this is the one I have. The light roast really lets the character come through (and contributes to what feels like a higher-than-average caffeine hit). Brew method: pour-over: the flavor is rich and sweet, hard to describe but really good, with a beautiful lighter color like mahogany. My wife also made a cup in her espresso machine and found it tasty but too light a roast for her taste (she prefers dark to espresso roast). This coffee really makes me smile!
To be honest, my preference is for lighter roasts but I wanted to try this as a product of Jayuya (where we have family history). This is a somewhat lighter dark roast, I'd say, making it a good balance for me. Brew method: pour-over: really nice flavor and a good dark color.
