Café Terrafé is produced in the central-south part of Puerto Rico, between the three tallest peaks of the island, in the region of the Toro Negro Rainforest. Blessed with a varied climate and fresh water springs, coffee trees benefit from a unique year-round growing environment, perfect for specialty coffee production. Produced by Hacienda Guindaleza, Inc. in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.
For both medium and dark roast coffees, classic flavors are the focus. The wash process is used, in which beans are depulped and immediately washed, to preserve traditional flavor characteristics without introducing additional fermentation notes during drying. The result is a clean, expressive cup with a perfect combination of traditional flavors.
