I found this coffee in January 2001 on a trip to Puerto Rico and I have bought it almost exclusively since then. Sometimes it was hard to find but I always succeeded. I love instant coffee and Yaucono is the Best.
After purchasing this coffee while visiting Puerto Rico we ordered directly from this distributor and received it three days later in the mail.
As usual, the shipment was prompt, and the 2-pounder packs of Cafe Oro make excellent expresso. We also appreciate the usual gift of a sweet Puerto Rico treat, in this case coconut. Keep up the great work.

Returned to San Juan in May having left in June of 1967. A big surprise was how good the coffee was and I brought some back. Ordered some for my late wife’s mother because she does like coffee and she was tickled to get it and delighted with the flavor. Why don’t we hear more about Puerto Rican coffee here in the states?

I was really excited to try this coffee—just like I have been with all the others I’ve ordered from this company. Unfortunately, this was the first one where the beans arrived super dry and tasted a bit old, like they’d been sitting on the shelf too long. I usually look forward to beans that are roasted and shipped fresh, ideally within a few weeks.
That said, I think I’ve just been spoiled by how fresh and flavorful their other coffees have been. I’ll chalk this one up to something that may have been out of their control.
I’m still a big fan and will absolutely keep ordering from them. There’s just something special about coffee from my island—nothing beats the tradition of enjoying café con pan. If you know, you know.
This sampler is a great gift or just because. My husband and I are huge coffee lovers . We love to try different coffees from different parts of the world.
We had just returned from a trip to the island, didn't make room to bring back much coffee so this assortment had a good variety at a reasonable price without the additional charges for shipping. We drank Cafe Boriqua the whole time we were there, this is a easy way to try several different brands. Next trip the coffee gets it's own carry-on bag.

I drink only espresso, and I like the taste and the aroma of this coffee. I also love that this is a 100% Puerto Rican coffee, and not mixed with imported coffee.
