When the muse doesn't arrive
and I can't find what to tell you,
when I would like to write to you
and my inspiration goes blind,
then my soul surrenders
without resources or expressions
and without reasons intervening
I pull out my infallible trick:
an irresistible little coffee
to open up hearts.
