Café Terrafé is produced in the central-south part of Puerto Rico, between the three tallest peaks of the island, in the region of the Toro Negro Rainforest. Blessed with a varied climate and fresh water springs, coffee trees benefit from a unique year-round growing environment, perfect for specialty coffee production. Produced by Hacienda Guindaleza, Inc. in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.
The Alquimia Natural Process develops complex flavors through whole-cherry drying — the beans are dried inside the fruit without removing them first. This allows the beans to retain the natural flavors of the mucilage (pulp), resulting in a unique and layered artisanal coffee experience with notes of pure cacao, açaí, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
