Café Terrafé is produced in the central-south part of Puerto Rico, in between the three tallest peaks of the island, on the region of Toro Negro Rainforest. Blessed with a varied climate and fresh water springs, coffee trees benefit from a unique year round weather, perfect for specialty coffee production.
Produced by: Hacienda Guindaleza, Inc. - Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.
Process Description: Complex flavors are developed through the natural drying process (Cherries are dried whole, without removing the beans from inside), which helps the beans retain a lot of the natural flavors of the mucilage (pulp). Thus providing a perfect combination of notes for a unique artisanal coffee experience.
We bought a Variety Pack and loved them all. One of our favorites was El Mañanero. We kept buying it based on aroma, taste and price. We were also impressed that it arrived to Texas so quickly. We enjoy it first thing in the morning and then we face the challenges of life.
I truly love this coffee, in my top two easily… the aroma and the flavor is amazing . So much body and fruits flavor with the smoothness in the end … I usually drink it in double espresso and the experience of a great and fresh quality coffee is enjoyable in every sipping..
If the coffee is good and not bitter I like it black, this meets those requirements. My wife like it light with cream or milk, but we love this one. 2nd order.
I visited PR last month and brought Cafe Oro for the first time and absolutely loved it! I was so happy to find this website that would send it to the states mainland. Also, they have great prices and fast shipment. Puerto Rico Coffee Hub definitely has my business for future shipments.
I can honestly say there had not been a brand of PR coffee that we have tried that we have not enjoyed. I love the bundles and their prices are fantastic.
