Café Terrafé is produced in the central-south part of Puerto Rico, between the three tallest peaks of the island, in the region of the Toro Negro Rainforest. Blessed with a varied climate and fresh water springs, coffee trees benefit from a unique year-round growing environment, perfect for specialty coffee production. Produced by Hacienda Guindaleza, Inc. in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.
The Alquimia Honey Process develops strong sweet and floral flavors through honey fermentation and drying, in which the beans are left to ferment and dry with the mucilage (pulp) of the cherries still attached. The acquired notes from this process produce a unique and layered artisanal coffee experience unlike any traditional roast.
