Café El Mañanero Coffee (The Early Riser) is a Puerto Rican family company established in 2003 and currently run by Francisco Miró in Indiera Baja, Maricao. A remote location in the western highlands of Puerto Rico. Francisco does it all: cultivate his own coffee plantation, buy coffee from his neighbor farmers, dry it and keep it in perfect conditions for the roast. He roasts coffee weekly and distributes his fresh product personally to the local stores, supermarkets and even to some old friends to whom he delivers his product personally. We bought a Variety Pack and loved them all. One of our favorites was El Mañanero. We kept buying it based on aroma, taste and price. We were also impressed that it arrived to Texas so quickly. We enjoy it first thing in the morning and then we face the challenges of life.

My daughter , Heidi Marie, and her soulmate, were delighted with this Christmas gift, I had for them. A life long friend, Jaime Castañer, whom I visited recently, gave me an 8 oz. bag of the El Mañanero Coffee, (Blue Bag), to bring to her, as a gift from him . When they both tasted it , they said that this was the best coffee they had ever flavored. The 8 oz. bag, only lasted one week. Their reaction, moved me to order four 16 oz. bags, as a Christmas gift to them. By the way, the farm of Jaime Castañer, borders with your farm in Mariano. He was the one that introduced me to such a delightful coffee!!!
